Almost thirteen years ago, an organization was birthed out of the need for a facility to treat persons with ‘Dual Diagnosis’, meaning drug addicts with some sort of mental disorder. This entity was named the Phoenix Recovery Project and it caters to persons struggling with both illicit and legal substance abuse as well as mental conditions. The Phoenix Recovery Project was established to complement the sterling work being achieved through the Salvation Army Drug Rehabilitation programme.
